Desi's
background in comedy and the entertainment arena, goes all the way
back to when he was 5 years old and began impersonating church members
for his mother's amusement.
At age 9 Desi appeared in a TV commercial with Joe Namath, and
was a radio DJ during college.
He started performing stand-up comedy at the Eastside Comedy Club
on Long Island and has performed at the Comedy Store (Los Angeles
CA.), Stand-up New York (NY), Dangerfields (NY), Coconuts(Cancun
Mexico), Uptown Comedy Club (Harlem NY), and even Cruise Ships as
well as numerous venues all over New England and beyond. He has
opened for comedic superstars Chris Rock and Sinbad.
He was the winner of radio station 97.5's "Funniest Person in
CT" contest, and Newsday called him "a diamond in
the ruff with a likeable stage persona".
Hailing from right here in Middletown, CT., a graduate of Quinnipiac
University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, Desi brings
his dynamic personality and many years of experience in the comedy
field to Cubed Squared as the Comedy Coordinator.
