Local, Regional, or National Talent – yes we have that!!!

The Cubed Squared team is comprised of fun, exciting, talented theatre and music enthusiasts who have combined the element of entertainment with the fundamentals of business.

No matter the genre, we have access to talent across CT and surrounding states. We can also secure nationally recognized entertainers as well. Jazz, Classic Rock, Country, R&B, Metal and acoustic ensembles... even Barber shop quartets! We also have access to DJ's and Karaoke hosts, Comics, Dancers, Magicians, Clowns and even singing telegrams are no problem!

We have relationships with many acts & vendors who can suit your needs. Below are the various categories that represent partnerships we have cultivated in the market place. We aim to be a one stop resource for all of your entertainment and planning needs.

From formal galas, to motorcycle events, to fairs & festivals, to corporate outings, to your child's first birthday, stag parties and everything in between -- whatever the occasion, whatever the need….. Cubed Squared!

We can also provide all of the ‘extras’ required to support the entertainment including lighting, staging, sound, session players and more! Call us and put us to work, working for you.

We welcome bar and club owners to call on us as well!! We can help with your in-house sound, provide new talent to liven up the party and even amp up your advertising, with a variety of marketing tools to help attract new audiences to your establishment.

For the Performer
We are not agents. Our job is not to find You work. Our job is to find “work” and match it up with an appropriate act. So if it’s an agent you are looking for to fill your calendar- that’s simply NOT what we do. What we can offer talent is a promise that if / when an appropriate opportunity presents itself (for which you are next in line to receive a call) - we will contact you with the information and allow YOU to decide if you want to be submitted for consideration... or not. We are facilitators and negotiators- but we recognize that you are the boss of your talent and your business. It is okay to say no to an offer that doesn’t appeal to you. And it’s okay to rest assured knowing if you say yes, you are being “represented” for that job professionally and fairly at all times.

Respect honesty and integrity are prerequisites for our team- to give and receive, and we value the relationships we’ve formed with literally hundreds of performers… and we’re still growing.

Our work- (and therefore your work) will come from various resources. Bars, weddings, private parties, fairs, political events, fund raisers, block parties, community programs, churches and synagogues, schools… pretty much anyone calling with a need for talent. We spend our time and effort finding work in general and we hope some of those opportunities will be a perfect fit for YOU!

Our process of recruiting talent is very personalized. We meet with a person from almost every act we work with because we believe in the importance of communication. We believe in listening and being understood. We do our best to match up talents with opportunities as best we can and we strive to make sure you as the performer have a positive experience each time we book you at a show. We send out formal confirmation for each and every engagement and we are on-call all weekend for the convenience of our talent as well. We strive to make it a fun interactive positive relationship building experience with the talent we are fortunate enough to work with.

Another benefit of being in our line-up is access to volume discounts from some of our vendors and information news and other industry related knowledge that we share with our acts as well. Invitations to focus groups, workshops and other informational seminars are also a bonus of affiliation with the C2 crew.

It costs nothing to be associated and you only pay us when you get paid. Best of all we are non-exclusive which means freedom and control for you and your act. That’s the way we believe it should be. We want to work with folks that want to work with us- and not because we’ve forced them to do so!

For the Venue
Our booking services are of no additional cost to the venue. We realize the venues provide much of the stage time for a majority of our performers. Our value-add is significant to each venue in that we have spent a lot of time reviewing the entertainer’s act, identifying the criteria by which we consider any act ‘appropriate’ for a room, and caring about each person and their compatibility with the audience that they will interact with. Ultimately however, our greatest impact in the market place comes from infusing a desire to build relationships, respect and mutuality between our agency, the act, and the venue with each booking we secure.

Venues rely heavily on entertainers to affect their bottom line. However, relying on the talent to make a business a success is simply not what we endorse. We here at Cubed Squared stand by the principle that our job is to suggest talent that will entertain the patrons that each venue has successfully brought into their own room. The talent is not responsible for filling a room but they DO have a responsibility to self promote enough to warrant their friends being the ‘icing’ on the venue’s already well decorated cake! To that end, we provide posters and other web derived promotional assistance to each act or venue if they need it.

Ultimately, the success of a room is defined by its identity and effective marketing campaigns. We can help suggest various marketing ideas, identity and branding strategies, advertising alternatives, and simple ‘fun stuff’ to add to any venue that will encourage people to come back – regardless of who is on the stage. Having quality talent – consistently – as well as an environment that people WANT to spend their quality time in, is the winning formula for the venues we work with.

We are also a non exclusive entity which means that we do not demand total control of a venue’s calendar. We understand and respect the notion that the venue owner ‘owns’ their bar… not us. We consider ourselves fortunate each and every time we have dates to fill. We encourage venues to reserve a few dates to book on their own if they think they have friends or referrals that want access to their stage, but perhaps don’t work with us at this time. Venues tell us what they want in their room and what dates they want filled; and we take care of the rest.

A venue’s success IS important to us – we welcome the opportunity to sit with each venue – no strings attached – to decide together if our services would be a benefit to the room. Our approach is completely opposite to what the ‘normal’ venue / agency relationship has been in the past. We truly hope that our impact on the marketplace continues to grow and foster a new way of doing business for everyone involved!
